ONE LEGGED PIGEON POSE

Heyya! Today’s yoga pose of the day is the ONE LEGGED PIGEON POSE. When I first tried do this pose, I struggled with getting hold of my back foot. I’ve come a long way peeps! My focus area is definitely that portion of my back right above my hips. Perfecting your #one legged #King Pigeon #pose takes a while. Don’t be alarmed if you can’t get it #right the #first time! I still haven’t perfected this pose myself but the #key point here is to not get your front-leg hip to the floor. Also keep your front foot flexed to protect your knee?? I would highly recommend for anyone who can’t get a grip of their foot to use a strap with a buckle. Make sure the small loop is strapped over the sole of the back foot. Once that is done, get into position and slowly bend your knee and lift the back foot. Keep your arms over your head and slowly walk your hands along the strap towards your foot.
